Houston-area voters wanted for a paid, professionally filmed research study
Connexion Research is looking for Houston, Texas voters to participate in a paid in-person focus group about politics, voting experiences, and current issues.
We want to hear your opinions, perspectives, and experiences related to politics and elections. You’ll participate in a 90-minute small-group discussion where you can share your thoughts and experiences.
There are no right or wrong answers—we want to hear your honest opinions!
Study Details

- Format: In-person focus group
- Duration: Approximately 90 minutes
- Date: Wednesday, October 21, 2026
- Session Times: 5:30 PM or 7:30 PM
- Focus Group Incentive: $175
- Participants: Texas voters who meet the specific study requirements
What to Expect
You’ll join a small group discussion with other Texas residents and share your views on politics, voting, and current issues.
IMPORTANT: This study will be professionally filmed. Portions of the sessions may be televised or used in other video productions. Participants must be comfortable being filmed and potentially appearing on television or in other media, and must consent to this use.
This is research, not a sales call or political solicitation.
How to Participate
Online Prequalification:

Candidates who qualify will be invited to complete a short online survey and receive $25 for completing it. Completing this survey does not guarantee selection for a focus group. Only a limited number of participants will be selected, with approximately 75% of survey completers expected to be chosen.

Important Notes
- Participants must meet the study’s specific geographic, demographic, and voting-history requirements.
- Completing the initial screening does not guarantee an invitation to the follow-up survey or selection for a focus group.
- The $25 incentive is for completing the follow-up online survey.
- The $175 incentive is for selected participants who attend and complete the full focus group.
- Participants must understand and consent to the professional filming and potential television or media use.
- Spots are limited, so we encourage you to apply early.
